a few weeks ago i noticed a new face promenading around the tank. he is tiny so i did my best to take clear photos. google image search was no help, it just kept telling me it was a sea slug which cant be since he has a shell. any idea what he is?? (praying he’s not invasive because i love him like a son)

I think it's a type of cowrie, but I'm not great at cowrie ID. The flesh typically covers the shell on my money cowries too.

Some cowries can be fantastic algae eaters. Others feed on coral.

He is awesome!

Did you use LR, if so from where?
I am tempted to say Cowrie, or Cone.
thank you!
i’m unfamiliar what LR means 😅

thank you for the reply!
oh no, hopefully it’s the former! D:
he typically hangs out on the glass, and the few times he’s on the rocks i don’t see him on any of the coral 🤞🏻
