Hi Reefers

can anyone identify for me what is growing/floating around my skimmer and next to my downflow pipe?

I have removed it a couple of times but it keeps coming back..

Cheers!

There are very few specific explanations in this hobby when it comes to microscopic life. White = Bacteria, Colored = Photosythesizers is sometimes where the analysis stops :)

Assuming you’re talking about the Timor, I doubt that would be a slimecoat. It may be a mucous cucoon if you have any fairy or flasher wrasses or similar wrasses.
