I bought this from a guy on facebook. He said it was a "hammer coral". Anybody know what it really is? Frogspawn maybe? Thanks!

+1, Hammer Coral, not a frogspawn, those have multiple tips per tentacle. :)

It may be because it's not fully opened yet. My original thought was torch coral, another type of euphyllia, but if you look at some of the ends they make the hammer shape.

Awesome stuff guys! Ya its only been in my tank for a week. It was in pretty rough shape by the time it made it to me... i honestly didnt think it would make it but everday it opens up just a little bit more! Its my first LPS so im testing the waters haha
