Ideal parameters to set for Neptune Trident dosing

Hi,

Have the Neptune Trident setup and about to automate it via 2 DOS pumps to dose solutions 1-3b.

Have to set values for alk, calcium and magnesium.

What are the ideal parameters for these with the Triton method?

Alk-8
Calcium 425? 450?
Magnesium ??

Also, what solution controls each so I can set the correct DOS pumps for each element.

1-?
2- Calcium?
3a- Alk?
3b- Alk?

Well. I don't know about the current products, I have new but old stock products.
To my knowledge my sets are.
1 is Mag plus elements
2 is Ca plus elements
3 A, B are Alk plus elements

Yes the standard targets
Mag 1350
Ca 430+
Alk 8+

My system
Mag is 1340 - 1360
Ca is 450 - 465
Alk 9.5
Seems to work for me. YMMV.

I also do not dose equal amounts as recomended.

I thought I read something somewhere that said the current products
are now in a different order.
I did not research this so dont take my word here.
I have over a years worth of product before I need to order more, so I am not concdrned with today's stuff.

Calcium - 420 mg/l
Magnesium - 1340 mg/l

Component 1 - Magnesium + Macro Elements + Trace Elements
Component 2 - Calcium + Trace Elements
Component 3a - Alkalinity (same as 3b)
Component 3b - Alkalinity (same as 3a)

I am using the Neptune dos units.
If memory serves me right Trident's starting dose is equal ammounts at 2ml per 10g of tank water volume.

Make sure to avoid precipitation that you does them seperatly.
Dose #1 wait 10 min then dose #2 wait 10 min then dose 3&4.

Download and save these documents. They have all the facts.
I have been told these are on Tritons site somewhere but I have never found them their.

Have you calibrated it yet?

Its recomended that you let it operate a week then calibrate.
