Identify and advice please!

[Hoodstream]

Hey guys stopped at my lfs and the manager there was marking down some frags and we were chatting and he offered me this frag if I wanted it because it wasn’t doing so hot. It had some polyps that looked like stars but still starting out in the hobby. Tanks about a month and a half in, and I really don’t want this coral to die. So sorry if I’m in wrong section, anyone ID? I’ll post water parameters if needed too. It had maybe two or three of the star polys in stores but two days in my tank all gone. Open to all advice. My other corals are doing great and I’m still trying to take in all the info I can. Cheers ahead of time!

This is an lps, the polyps you saw were the sweeper tentacles, which come out at night for feeding. Most often it will look like this.

Looks to me like some form of a Goniopora. They tend to go into sulking mode in young tanks IME.

Did the polyps look somewhat like this when they were extended? If so, how many of the tips could you count?
