I have the IM 8G as well. Stock lighting. My zoas, frogspawn and favia are all very happy.
I am about 12 weeks in. I do like your aquascape, I wish I had done something like that. I also wish I never added LR from my local pet store. Full of aiptasia!

I'm glad yours took to the stock lighting! Mine never did, but I'm kinda glad cuz I love my knew lights way more :D . Yeah I'll never use anything but reef saver brs rock or the eco rock I've seen cuz my first tank was riddled with red flatworms. Lesson learned right lol. I'm happy to hear your tank is doing well. I love these tanks!

So I have some bad news, my hammer didn't survive shipping and my blasto is looking bad, too. I was devastated this morning when I saw my tank cloudy white like the bag the hammer was in. But I am loving my new aquascape and my torch seems to be doing alright and so is my maxi so I guess that's good. My params check out. Did a gallon water change and put in new media to help clear it up hopefully. Let me know how you like the scape and what you think of the blasto torch and nem. Input is helpful, as I'm still kinda new to the coral world. Thanks!

Yeah I would say wait till you've had your 8g for a year. Do a new tank next Christmas. Beef out your nano this Christmas! :D

20% twice a week with RODI 000 PPM water.
I believe it was caused by our over feeding, but its been 2 weeks since we overfed and I have gone to feeding once every 3 days.
I have a feeling it is our filter. I ordered filter floss, chemipure, and purigen which will arrive Monday. I hope it helps...

It should... corals unless nps don't need fed at all. .. and only keep 1 small fish. . I had a small spike like that when a small died and my shrimp took it to his burrow, so watch for dead snails too. :)

I think you should be fine on livestock. .. feed your fish small meals everyday. ... don't feed corals non of them require it that you have.
