Pierre, go to Best Buy and get a Canon T2i. You will not regret it.

Once you get it dialed " it's all about the user behind it" it's a wonderful camera...these are straight from the camera to pb. Zero editing

Im a photoshopper, I will not lie, but I think Canon has Nikon beat, however, I am looking into the Canon D7000 as a option, but I still think you should go Canon!

Thanks for your comments.

Some one have the same opinion of him? or something different?

Also a friend suggest me buy a Canon T2i. What you think?

You have PM, I will send more coral pictures in the next PM if you wish.

All the research I did boiled down to what camera fit your hands better... Pretty much there identical it's all about the person behind it...:)

I chose the d3100 over the canon simply for HD filming advantage and price, pic wise they're not that far apart, invest in some good lens if you want to take tank shots IMO.

while I do not have the d3100, I have had the nikon d7000 for a year now, I absolutely love this camera, just the low noise on the higher ISO was the selling point for me.

I've had the d7000 since April, great camera. I looked at the others, but I have no regets with the d7000
