I am so glad that I did this! Slow process, but everything is coming along nicely. We have a few fish in there right now and my Scissortail is a nut. He surfs the waves of the powerhead all day and actually lays in the sand at night. I seriously thought he was dead and got upset. What a weirdo!

It's been quite a while, slow process. I really need to do a build thread. Here are some pictures. I'm still learning how to use my hand-held filter and in the video, I forgot I wasn't voice texting at one point. LOL 71196920_10220626832001170_805061275691253760_n.jpg

A few fun things in our tank and the littlest boss making sure my son was cleaning it right.

I just realized that you can see the little 32 in the reflection lol That one has just finished cycling and I will be turning it into a zoanthid garden with happy little yellow fish. Right now, it only has a harptail blenny and a neon goby along with a skunk shrimp, a scarlet and a few snails, so I haven't put any pictures up yet.

Super excited! About two and a half months ago, we added a Yellow Priolepsis Goby and we haven't seen him; I assumed he was dead. Guess who made an appearance during feeding time tonight?!? He is bigger and so cool looking!!!
We added several new corals this Sunday, I will post pictures soon. :)

We had a zoanthid frag go missing a few days ago and I could not find it. My tuxedo found it today and even brought it up to the top so we could grab it easily!

i'm just starting out but a 5 gallon reservoir for ATO might be too small for your tank. I have a 5 gallon ATO reservoir for my 45 gallon and it runs out in a week. i would imagine for yours it would run out in like 2 days lol.

A new lens came from my phone tonight and I had to play. I obviously still need practice, but this was kind of fun

I currently have: (14 for sure, possible 15 they are all small-sized [right now] except the first three).
Foxface Biggest fish/biggest baby/biggest drama queen
Scopas Tang Small fish with a big attitude - doesn't bully, but doesn't take no sass!
Blue Spot Yellow Jawfish The reason I set this tank up
Ocellaris Clown
Lawnmower Blenny
Orange Stripe Prawn Goby
Tailspot Blenny
Biggest pig in the tank - actually looks pregnant LOL
Orchid Dottyback
Purple Firefish
Firefish
Pink line Wrasse
We've only seen a handful of times in the three months we've had it - I think he's still in there
Blue/Green Chromis
Blue Sapphire Damsel
HarpTail Blenny
Neon Goby
Just recently started hitching rides on the Foxface to clean it! :)

I love my critters too! I currently have:
Skunk Shrimp Total Ham
Blood Shrimp
I only see him at night :(
Royal Blue Tuxedo Urchin Fatty
Red Tuxedo Urchin
Sea Serpent
Pistol Shrimp
Best friends with my prawn goby
Dersa Clam
2 Halloween Crabs
Hermits
10ish variety of red/blue/scarlet
Porcelain Crab love watching this "catch" food
2 Pom Pom Crabs
Snails
30ish variety
Strawberry crab?? I haven't seen it since we put it in

Corals: (Smaller, affordable frags that are all slowly growing)
3 Rock Anemones
Purple Blasto
Green Trumpet
Frogspawn
Hammer
Toadstool My absolute favorite - and it's not even colorful, so I really don't know why?!?
Leather
2 Alveopora
2 Acro
Duncan
Trachy
Zoanthids
Pavona
Montipora
Firework Cloves
Nepthea (the only one I really don't like but my son loves it)
Acan

Three losses so far ~ A McCosker's Wrasse that seemed to disappear within the first week. We lost a tiny Scissortail Goby, who got sucked up in the food baster and didn't make it out - sad learning experience for my son. We also had a Zebra Dartfish that somehow managed to escape despite having screens and a canopy... that one still puzzles me.
