Drilled holes in the bottom of display tank. will be adding two at the top back panel for over flow. using magnetic check valves to prevent back flow just incase return pump ever fail. still working out the sump area as it maybe larger than 40 gal. refugium it self will be 10/20 gallon,: bio media will be 10 gallon and skimmer area.ill be starting with dry rock in the main display with caribsea arag-alive Bahamas oolite sand. in the refugium will have 1 large live rock with algae growth.

started out with a basic tank and added the features I like from the more expensive tanks. picture framed glass is top fav. DIY has kept my interest in the hobby long term. working on the sump and attaching all of the tech to the walls before building the outer wall next

ran into a little issue with the UV plumbing size. still working on the tech. tomorrow will be filling the tank completely, today was a mini test run making sure no leaks. then designing wall panels.
