My Indian mud eel has these white spots randomly on it now??? They weren’t there earlier today but i just noticed them. Could it have been stung by an anemone? It’s acting normal and it ate earlier but I’m not sure what’s going on.

What salinity are you keeping it in?
I acclimated it over the course of like a month or two up to 1.025 spcific gravity (sorry that’s the only measure i have) it’s been fine (grown even since i got it from a not so good situation) for the last six months.

Gymnothorax tile is the scientific name
Yep - I know that fish, just not by that common name. As you know, they can’t live in FW long term, but are fine in brackish or marine tanks.
That said, the blanched spots aren’t any disease I’m familiar with. Are they on both sides of the fish? Do they run down its whole body?
