You are being very patient with this and Thanks for sharing the equipment list.
I am looking at the 150EXT now. I kind of dread the build plumb and water test in the garage only to drain, unplumb, and then move it... I laughed at your note thinking.. I will probably risk it in the living room for water test. No guts no glory... . I'm looking forward to seeing you next posts
Also. May I ask, clear bottom? No sand? I keep going back and forth, is there a thought you had to drive your decision.

Hey! Sorry for the delay in response, it’s been a very hectic week or so, between work, life, and all the ongoing projects at home! I’ll have another update on this build shortly!

To answer your question, I went with Caribsea Special Grade live sand. I quickly thought about the bare-bottom, but I have goby’s, shrimp, and just prefer the look of a sand bed. I’m trying to replicate a reef here, and I feel sand is very important for that.
