What's the purpose of this area I boxed in blue? If stuff gets stuck in there, wouldn't it be near impossible to clean that area? Are you concerned at all about the design of this?

I was thinking about putting my heater in there to free up the second chamber for a skimmer.

(Don't know how feasible that is. This will be my first build from the ground up. I'll start my own build thread once I get the rest of my equipment.)

I have my 100w helio heater positioned down there. The heater and return pump both fit perfect

Par numbers for the Radion XR15 Gen Pro. My nozzle is blocking some light so I am going to go with just 1 RFG nozzle .

Only place the Tunze 9001 would fit is in the return chamber. I glued the thinner magnet to the side. I have the skimmer pretty high up while its breaking in. I am getting micro bubbles into the display....hoping it will go away after a week or 2. I turn it on at night with my Co2 scrubber attached. Getting good results with PH

Media caddy, filter floss in 1st section, 100 micron floss in 2nd section then carbon in 3rd section. 1st chamber= caddy 2nd=empty 3rd=heater, return pump, ATO

I have 2 filter socks and the media caddy to switch around for filtration. For the caddy, I have the fiber balls on the top, Sera Siporax media balls middle chamber, GAC on the bottom chamber of the caddy. My 2nd chamber of Fusion 15 is currently empty but i am going to make that the refugium chamber. I have the skimmer in the return chamber along with the helio heater that just came in the other day.

How is the Jebao pump working on the tank? I’m getting ready to order my tank and trying to decide on equipment.

The Jebao 1500 is working great! Its completely silent and suits the Fusion 15 well. I previously used dual nozzles but found that it blocks the light and create a shadow in the middle of my tank. I am running 1 RFG now and running it at 60-70 %

If i use this lid i bought off of Amazon it last well over a week. I just place it on top of the screen lid at night. Without it about 3-4 days

The 9001 has been on for almost a week. It isn't the easiest to tune but I think it just needs more time to break in. I am still getting microbubbles but it has improved .

I'm happy to report after 2 weeks of use the microbubbles suddenly disappeared and the Tunze 9001 is working like a charm. It does skim a little on the wet side but I am tuning it for a darker skim. I did have to modify and superglue the magnet on the side of skimmer.
