What your thoughts on IM nano tanks, good or bad? Pros and cons. Thinking of getting one. Any input would be helpful.

Lots of options in the 30G range, were you looking for one of there AIOs? Or would you like something with the option to add a sump? I would steer clear of any of there lines made with acrylic. They used rather thin acrylic and I've seen a few warp with certain lighting.

I've had two of their tanks. The first was the 14 peninsula and now I have a 20 drop off peninsula. Very nice construction, clean seams and super clear glass. My 20 build is in my signature. I got a new phone recently and all my photos are on the old one, and on that thread...

I've had 4 IM10's, 1 IM20, 1 IM25 lagoon, 1 IM30, 3 IM40's and now the new INT 112gal. As you can tell I'm a fan of their tanks. Great quality and the price cannot be beat. Especially since they're not MAP priced and you can find them on sale often 10-20% off. All their tanks come with a screen except the 25 lagoon. Glass and seems are great quality. I've never had any issues with the many IM tanks I've had.

Which particular tank are you looking at?

How much evaporation you go thru per week on 30 and 40? Debating to choose lagoon or 30 or 40 now

Roughly 2-2.5 gallons a week. I'm at a higher elevation with drier than average air. So evaporation where I'm at is pretty high. I'd say do to the dimensions/surface area the 30L evaporates more than the 40.

My Nuvo 10 evaporates around 1.5 gallons a week here.
You should spring for the Lagoon 50, much nicer footprint than the 40 and is big enough to last a little while longer before you want to upgrade:p

The 50 is nice but if you go that route do the INT or EXT 50/75gal. Not much of a price difference. Heck go for the new 70gal peninsula drop off.

I was going to suggest the Lagoon 50 EXT especially cause they are on sale right now lol but didn't wanna narrow it down too much.

Our LFS has a Nuvo EXT Lagoon 50 set up and wow it does look sharp! Makes me want one but a second new tank I don't think would fly.;Shifty:p
