Read the first 7 pages, didn't see anyone ask what the dimensions are. So what are they? Also what fish do you have in there? Any sharks by chance? And how much did the whole setup COST?

Any plans for a pair of Personatus? They would look pretty incredible once they got full size.

Are you planning to pull any fish out when you start corals or just going to see how it goes?looks like a lot of possible coral eaters are in there.

Corals. Ya well adjust accordingly. No fleshy stuff. If have to we can pull. I have a trio now of adult personatus angels. Not tempted yet to throw them in.

I was mainly wondering about the heniochus with the corals. I’ve never had much of an issue with large angels and SPS at least.

Personatus are the most amazing fish on the planet IMO. Hopefully eventually they end up in the big tank.

It took 4 years. And it probably cost more than double from original estimates. Yes parts of house had to come off but most of fish rooms etc were extentions so it was new space created . Because it was 3 side view we went to best reef architech around. We created little plastic box models with little rock . We use 2 industrial ro di machines that make 10k gallons a day so we filled a few days and then salted up.
First I'd just like to say that this is utterly amazing. Did you or anyone else document this project from the beginning? Or brought a professional production team in to shoot it? I feel like this tank alone would be a highly watched youtube channel. It's just completely jaw dropping. having a tank that I could free dive in has become my new life goal. Do you have another project in mind dow the road?

Thx maquarium. There is an original build thread on reef central. Birth of 2 systems totaling 30k gallons. So yes there is a 2500 gallon all reef that needs to be next done next year.

Thanks. I'll have to check out that tread. I'm new to these forms. R2R post of this tank is what actually got me on to the form. If you're ever selling tickets I'd love to check it out!
