I am a newbie to marine aquariums. I had a 55g freshwater tank years ago and loved the hobby. As life does, my family grew (six children) and my career had me all over the globe. I used aquarium work to supplement my drag racing, in terms of calming me down. I have retired from racing (turbo charged Hayabusa) at the request of my wife and oldest two daughters when my first grandchild was born five years ago. My pretty wife informed me in January that I was grumpy. She asked if I would enjoy an aquarium again and I said I might buy it must be saltwater this time. She purchased a 125g long tank and now I am back in the hobby. I have come to understand the word reef to be the root of the word refinance. I still need lights so I can add corals but I am on my way.
