Just dropping an intro thread as I just registered, though have been reading for a bit.
Have always wanted a big reef tank, and had told myself about 15 years ago if I kept a beta fish alive for a year I'd allow myself to jump into the reef tank hobby. Well, I kept it alive but never dove in. However, last year I did get my toes wet with a 5 gallon tank setup for neocardinia shrimp and was given a small 10 gal IM AIO that I've been running for maybe 6 monthsish? Couple of clowns and some coral, everyones happy.
Anyway, just took delivery this afternoon of my IM EXT 75 setup in white. Was pretty certain my wife was going to kill me when she saw everything in the garage, but went better than I expected! Deal was I could get a larger tank if I broke down the other two smaller, so I said ok fine honey ;) Uploaded photos of the two current tanks from when I first got the IM 10 and filled, and state of it now from a few weeks back.
Am super excited to get building on the setup and working on the reefscape, and then starting my cycle.
Looking forward to learning a lot from everyone here.
