ION-D firmware update

i just got my ION-D my question is do i have to do the firmware update on my P4 to set it up? i"m running 7.24 right now. I really don't want to go through the trouble hand headache of that right now:(

Congrats on getting your IOND. :)

You should update the P4 to the newest FW.
It shouldn't take more than 10 minutes to do as long as the steps are followed correctly
