It seems like people are missing the part where you mention your photos aren’t as good as your wife’s with her Samsung. And they never will be. They have better camera capabilities than iPhones do. No amount of tricks will get your photos as good as hers as long as you’re using an iPhone compared to a Samsung.
That doesn’t mean you can’t take good photos with an iPhone. Plenty of people have, including myself. You’re just going to need an actual camera if you want better photos.
