Welcome to our build thread!

It is finally official! iReef86 is upgrading their last tank for the move! We got a deal on a new 60g Cube from our local fish store, Chester Aquaria. We are upgrading the wife's old Tank of a Tank, 65g Oceanic, to a more modern Rimless Cube design. The plan is to post and document regularly, so stay tuned, and subscribe for details! A Current System Profile will remain on this post and be updated as things change and progress.

I am letting the wife set this up how she likes. This tank will house her 2 pink skunk clowns, Anemones, and Mandarins. It will have a sunset colored theme: Red, Orange, Yellow, Pink, Blue, and Purple etc. This tank will be set up in our new house in our big bonus room upstairs where we expect to spend a lot of family time.

So the plan for this tank is starting to come together. The stand is going to match my 250g design, but be one solid piece. The temporary 10g sump has been put together, until I can get a few extra dollars to build one out of acrylic. But the 10g has a drain section that overflows into a single filter sock, that drains into the skimmer section that overflows into the return. Ill post a picture here shortly, or better yet a small video. :)

So I just landed a sweet sump for this tank. Its 26" wide, which is perfect for a 30" wide cube! Its 16" front to back so I will have plenty of space to put the top off container and some supplies! Talk about awesome! Going out of town for business this week, Wed through Sat, so I probably wont get the stand built this week... Maybe next week!
