Yes. Most of that other stuff will settle out of RO/DI water, and none of it is a significant concern.

Thanks! Why is the dosing so insignificant in terms of concentration and dosing amount? Attempting this for macro in fuge.

Because it appears that corals can thrive under a super wide range of iron concentration, from natural surface seawater levels (as low as 0.000006 ppm) up to at least the 0.1 ppm that Red Sea recommends.

Hey there guys,

My ICP came back recently and my "all in one" trace seems to be overdosing zinc (x4) than any other element, so I need to look at DIY. So begins the journey.

This is what I am looking at in the uk -

Which contains 10x the level of iron as a Fergon tablet. Was wondering what your approach would be, one tablet in 1000ml of RODI?

That’s not 10x. That 300 mg is the whole molecule, not just the iron. It only contains about 35 mg of iron. So the recipe change is not needed.
Unfortunately the iron tablets I got here in the UK doesnt seem to have settled out as expected, and I'm not confident about adding to my tank!

One tablet into 27.5ml rodi left for 24 hours, shaken many times.
