I have two new tangs that just came out of QT. A convict and blonde naso. Prophylactic copper and praziquantel, 2 rounds of Prazi, 30 days of copper power and a week observation.
Convicts eating everything Blonde Naso eats just nori, but will eat a ton of it and is fat.

They both just finished all treatments and now are in the main DT (the last week). It’s a new DT and has plenty of hair algae right now (ugly phase). The DT has 2 wrasse in addition to Both tangs. Both tangs are eating the hair algae constantly.

I been feeding frozen, that the 2 wrasse and convict devour. Not the Blonde Naso.

My question:
Should I put nori in the display tank for the Blonde naso. I would really like them to just continue to eat this hair algae. I obviously want to make sure the Blonde Naso is getting what he needs.

Consider trying the "purple" nori if you haven't already for the BN. It has the highest concentrations of vitamins and minerals.

My Powder Blue Tang won’t let a strand of algae grow in my tank but I always have a sheet of Nori in there for him everyday along with mysis at night. He is definitely fat and happy.
