Changed my lighting system yesterday from a current 48” v1 to 2 hydra 26s set to the David Saxby lighting schedule but will be in acclimation mode for the next month. Came home today and the nem looked horrible...should I be worried?
it moved about 6-7” down further in my rock work, it’s not inflated at all and I can see it’s mouth is clearly wide open. Is there anyway for me to help the little critter?
Only other change that’s been made in the tank is that my refugium light went out, I have a kessil h350 I will using as a replacement but as of now have no mount for it.
Should have a mount by Friday.

Starting to become detached from the rock work at the foot, do I need to give up and take it out of the tank?
I don’t want to nuke everything...

I’m by no means an expert but I personally would pull it out just to be safe, especially if the foot is becoming detached.

Looks like it’s foot settled back on the rock work, might still be on the move to a lower part of the aquarium.
mouth is still pretty open though, my lightning clown is doing a lot of picking at it right now.

You'll need to somehow separate the clown and BTA. The clown will do more damage than good at this point. The BTA needs time to acclimate and the clown is hampering this process.

Ok...any suggestions on how to do it?
whenever I stick a net in the tank the clown hides in the rock work.
It’s pretty smart
