What other fish are in the tank? It looks like it is getting beat up pretty good.

Maybe it could be the puffer? Do any of the fish show aggression towards the copper band?

An even better pic would help. You don't see any of the other fish being aggressive at all though? Not necessarily towards the cbb but just in general.

Is it just hiding? Is it eating? Was it eating before you got it?
Live black worms and clams can often entice them to eat. Copperbands can be difficult though. Have you tried prazi or any other meds previously?

I got mine feeding on blood worms and mysis. Started with just blood worms and once he got used to that I started throwing in mysis and he eats both now. He's now an aggressive eater and takes his claim of the food. Though I have an extremely passive tank with him. I have an ornate wrasse, tribal blenny, and watchman goby. I used to have a yellow tang but he was so aggressive to the cbb that I got rid of him. Best thing I did cause he wouldn't of made it if I kept the yellow tang. Definitely my favorite fish

They are very shy at first mine hid for a good bit. What I had to do was shoot some food in the tank then run to the other side of the room so he wouldn't see me and would come out to eat. If I stood there he wouldn't come out at all. Now he loves the camera and is always in the picture no matter what I'm taking a picture of. Just took a bit for him to get comfortable with aquarium life and used to me feeding and sticking my hand in the tank. I just had to be patient with him.

It's usually not a good sign when they're lying down like that. I agree with the questions posed above

When I bought it the guy showed me it eating I've had it for about a month now just recently went like this it's been great with the other fish in my tank the only thing that's changed is I have moved my rock work about what kind of med should I use as I have an anemone and soft corals in the tank don't want to loose the poor fish

Moving the rock around is what spooked him.

Try a clam on the half shell and limit movement and activities around the tank.

It dose look like bites.from the pic, it looks like part of the dorsal fin is bitten off to the body.Check into seachem products, some are reef safe for bacterial infections
