Your better off taking the rocks out or the tank and just pouring a little hydrogen peroxide over them. It will kill it completely on the rock and not affect the tank much when you put the rock back in. Do just a few rocks at a time. I find using an ATS is a great way to control algae in your tank. You can make one for under $30. See my DIY thread ATS for under $30.00.

yea i would try that but i’m setting up a refugium in the back chamber in my tank
