Is my possum wrasse eating all my shrimp!?

I have a yellow banded possum wrasse and I’m wondering if anyone has seen them go after larger shrimp like cleaner, or peppermints and eat them? I initially added 6 sexy shrimp whom sadly were eaten almost instantly by my possum wrasse. I also had a cleaner shrimp which lived for a couple of months but then the wrasse started picking at him and over time he got in pretty bad shape and died. I started to notice a few aptasia popping up in my tank so I bought two peppermint shrimp. They have been in there about two weeks doing just fine, almost got rid of all those pesky anemones. When I initially added them the wrasse kept swimming by to check them out but didn’t bite at them. Now this morning I look in the tank and the shrimp are no where to be found. No body’s and they’re not in the sump. For comparison the shrimp were the same size if not bigger than my wrasse. Should I just avoid adding any shrimp with my possum?

Sadly just a couple of sexy shrimp that managed to get into my sump and are happily living in my dragons breath. Thank you!

I've had a possum wrasse in my 20g tank with two cleaner shrimp for 3 or 4 mos now. Haven't seen it pay any attention to them. If they disappear, I'll know who to bla

I've never seen my possum pay any attention to cleaner, blood, or peppermint shrimp.

Yellow banded possum and a blood red fire shrimp together in a 24x20x20 with no issues here. Not sure how long I have had them both but its been quite a while. Shrimp is pretty large and was in first so that may have helped .
