Is my powerhead placement okay?

I just installed 2 eflux current 1050 gph powerheads.
Currently have them set to gyre mode at 70%

My hammer retracted completely after turning the powerheads on so worried it might be getting too much flow. Nothing else seems affected

I'd suggest maybe starting them @30% and gradually increasing every few days and monitoring how your corals react in the interim.

Just went and made the adjustments! Also angled the powerhead more towards the center of the tank instead of the front glass. Not sure if there are any advantages to having them pointed at the glass as opposed to the middle?

It’s one of those things you have to kind of play around with.
