Is this aptasia? And if so, what can I do to kill it?

I bought a mat of gsp 6 months ago and glued it to this rock. It has been mostly closed up for the past couple weeks. All my other corals are happy! Thanks in advance!

Peppermint shrimp will eat it.
My Peppermint Shrimp got rid of them in my DT. I'm trying out some Berghia Nudibranch in my sump to see if they really do work. My wrasses would make a meal of them in my DT. I'm surprised the shrimp have made it this long. About 1x month, when I feed my tank at night, the shrimp release fry into the tank. Haven't seen any new shrimp as of yet but good live food:)

Will Melanarus Wrasse eat the peppermint shrimp? It doesn't bother cleaner or fire shrimp in my tank. I have one aptasia that came with a zoa frag.

Then I'm gonna have that big empty spot right in the center of my tank. And the wife's not gonna be happy bc I'll have to find a main centerpiece to buy to put there. Lol!

I don't have a Melanarus wrasse but my previous one did find a liking to the ornamental shrimp I had at the time. My Macropharyngodon meleagris, Halichoeres iridis and Anampses meleagrides do like to chase them around:eek: A couple have come up missing for no known reason.

What good is a centerpiece if it isnt open due to the aiptasia. ..i personally would take the rock out and throw it away, peppermint shrimp are hit or miss and are optimistic eaters (they ate a complete colony of my utter chaos zoas)the major problem with aiptasia is how rapidly they can grow and spread if not taken care of from the start

My Melanurus doesn't touch the cleaner or fire in my tank, but wasted no time in making a snack of the peppermint I added.
