Have this growing on the overflow, I wonder if it is blue hypnea and I toss it in the fuge?

Thanks for getting me on the right path here. I'll take it very carefully out so to prevent it from spreading, so far it's only on the overflow.

Looks like the brown macroalgae Dictyota, which can give off a blue iridescence. It is generally seen as a pest macroalgae outside of dedicated macroalgae tanks and can clog pumps. It really is a shame since it looks so beautiful, in my opinion :(.

It is beautiful, I had the red version in my previous planted tank and it just looked awesome the red variety it’s also known as Red Devil
