Hi, I have this brown stuff and super stringy stuff all over my tank. Should I do chemi clean? It’s crazy it’s like it’s going over all my corals and killing them. I just moved my tank to a new house and lost a lot of corals and then this happened and I lost more sps. It is very sad. Any idea what it is? Any help to get rid of it would be much appreciated!

Sometimes this is remedied by bumping up the nutrients aka nitrate phosphate. Essentially sometimes the nutrients get low and the "competition" is not doing great. It's all micro biology. Suck the dinos off the rocks and bump the nutrients to rebalance your system. That brown goo will most likely bother and smother corals so it's best to get rid of it

Looks like mulm and sediment
Grab a turkey baster and give those spots gentle blasts. It should blow off, then siphon this stuff up
