Is this light OVERKILL for an IM lagoon25?

Is a Radion XR30 Pro too much light for a 25g lagoon?

Hey Reefers-

I am deciding on a light for my IM Lagoon 25g . Would a Radion XR30w Pro (G4) be too much light? I just sold my Reefer 250, so I have a bit of extra cash to spend on lights.

Thanks!

Brian G.

T5!

Jk. The 15 will work. Personally I’d use a light that makes the same shape as the tank. Like 2 3 kessil 160. A maxspect razor. Reefbreedrs photon. SBreeflight ultra.
A pendant will give you a hot spot and dead Ends.

I had a 25 lagoon with a XR30 G4 Pro. I upgraded from an XR15 to a 30 because I wanted more consistency in PAR. It was an SPS dominant tank. I ended up having to upgrade tanks because I could not fit the equipment I wanted in the back of a AIO.
