Just got my first tank all set up and cycled and I got the light today and noticed all the bubbles coming out of the return. Is this normal?

Fairly common and normal for a new tank. What do you have for filtration?

Adjusted the return nozzles a little bit, turned down the return pump, and re situated the cotton balls at the top of the media caddy and seems waaaaay better.

Was going to say, adjusting the nozzles and return fpm would be your best bet. Looks much cleaner now and congrats on the new light! Best of luck with the rest of your settling in and cycling
