Is this the standard GHA?

Stuff has started growing in small patch around the tank. Thinking its just standard GHA and I need more CUC.
Right now in my 100G I have a single pincushin about 15 trochus and 1 turbo snail. Thinking about getting another urchin.

Parameters have been pretty stable. Nitrate around 12-16 and Phosphate .03 to .06.

You have 16 snails where a 100G with a big algae issue might need upwards of 200.

IMO add an urchin if you want, but don't expect a big difference – 100G is a lot of surface area to tend to, more than one (tiny) animal will cover.

You need more mouths to feed!!!

Remove as much of that algae by hand as you can – don't wait for "the CUC" since YOU are the #1 member of the CUC. :)

Then I would double your snails, maybe even just add 15 turbos. See how it goes for a week or so and maybe add another 15 if the algae you cleared by hand seems to come back.

Last, micron or UV filtration can help slow or stop the spread if you think that might be worth it. (Check out @Paul B 's plan for a DIY micron filter.)

Yeah thats what I'm thinking also. The only thing I can remove by hand would be the two small patch seen in picture 2, everything else is like small stick that grow half an inch from each other. Unless I go in there with a tooth brush It would be a lot of manual work lol.

Yes it looks that way from outside the tank, and this will help you understand the task your CUC is up against. :)

(Using a toothbrush or removing the rock is cheating and will actually set you back.)

Get in there and start removing strands by hand – one pinch at a time. If it seems like too much to do (it might be), then work in small areas (2x2") for no more than 20 minutes at a time, then take a break. Make sure each 2x2 area is totally clean before you move on. Come back for more later/the next day, keeping in mind that algae do not rest. ;)

For good measure, gently take one of your snails and place it in the newly-cleaned zone.....if it was overgrown before they might actually be avoiding that area.
