Is this too much?

I've been wondering for awhile now, but my tank (75g w/ 30g sump) has been evaporating about 5-7g (or more) of water in a week.

Is this concerning?
Is my house THAT dry?
Is there a way to fix this?

That's about the same as mine. 75 gallon 40 gallon sump and I have to fill my 5 gallon ato container every 5 to 6 days. When I had the glass lids on it was a lot less.

Sounds about right. My 20G does about 2.5G per week.

Do you currently have mesh lids? If so which do you think is better in your experience? I've never used the glass lids before

Mush lids do hold in a little bit more then no lid. I have condensation build up around my sides. Even the mesh portion will have water dripping. You can also get the evaporation lids to place on top of the mesh.

Sounds about right to me. MIne is 90 gallons, and loses about a gallon a day.

This is about a norm. I replenish a gallon a day but in a 400g tank

Roughly 10% that’s normal.

Iam 200 and I lose 21g per week

Humidity is 40-45%
