Is this too much?

Im gonna get my sump soon and i don't want to drill the tank and i was thinking to get this overflow box is this too much for my tank my lfs said he will get me with a pump 2000l or 4000l so i don't know if this is good or not

Too much overflow is a non issue. As long as your overflow will handle more than your return pump. In fact, the more the overflow can handle the quieter it will be. I'm more partial to the CPR 102 than this one though.
