Hey everyone so tomorrow I’m probably going to pick up a Torch from someone and he’s selling it for $40. He’s calling it an Aussie Black Torch but I don’t even know if that’s a thing. I have some pictures but is it worth $40? I really like it but I don’t know if I’m getting ripped off or something. He gave me pictures of it in purple and blue light.

Just got the same coral a few weeks ago at a petco of all places. They had no idea how much it costs, So I got it for 20$. lol

How about pics in white light? I'm guessing its a normal purple tentacle, white tip torch. Run of the mill everyday torch.

Single head for 40$, I would say thats a decent price with the current euphyllia craze.

Ok I think I’ll probably buy it he said it’s black with blue tips and it looks like it here’s another picture of it next to a hammer.

I’ve got a similar torch. I’ll just say it’s hard to see under blues. And under whites it’s also dark. In my FTS, I can’t even see it. It’s also massive and takes up a lot of real estate. Trying to get rid of mine.

in my FTS it’s on the right next to the Monti. Hard to see.

These are the pictures he sent to me just now in “white light” but it really doesn’t look white.

for 40$ I would buy it, but be aware, it probably won't be the color hes representing.
Well now I’m really debating this purchase I could use $40 to get some other corals. He is now saying you’ll see it in person and he won’t send me any whites of it.

If he won't send you any white pics, I would pass. He knows he's being decpetive, thats why he won't send white pics.

Whites Scott? Your rock is blue then.

Sorry to EDIT:
I just looked at the pic again, must just be the way the forum blows it up. If you click the picture, it looks normal. lol
