Ok, so my honest opinion about AQUA SD is that IF you buy during one of their sales, which is all the time, AND you don't throw a lot of money at any one coral, you can get some pretty good deals. I have ordered from them twice and been satisfied with my orders. I did not order anything high end from them. IMO all of the complaints of them are valid, but if you're budget conscious you can get some decent deals.

The fact that I could order corals from them and then get different corals, and then they could just shrug their shoulders and say "dang oh well, here's a partial refund lol" is the largest of red flags in my opinion.

I just imagine ordering a Walt Disney frag and getting a Bali slimer, and then they send me a $20 voucher lol.

Yes Human error happens but QC is a critical component of the process, which they seemingly don’t follow.

I’m almost speechless at their response. I mean this is a pricey hobby and if you don’t have the infrastructure to support WYSIWYG sales, then don’t. Call it something else, disclaimer or attempt to make it right.

I can say my WYSIWYG from SBB was spot on and delivered perfectly with no issues whatsoever.
Everything was opened up within 24 hours. I was shocked for my first time order. I expected a few days minimum and some worry on my end.

Or if they would like to compensate you for your silence a complete refund of your time spent on this thread at the going market rate for a blogger plus expenses, meals, incidentals, and a 300% inconvenience fee, will be acceptable.

I can say it saved me thousands. My tank is maturing nicely and I am going to start adding more and I won’t be using them for sure and any time I am asked about online places, I make it a point to absolutely without any fear or worry recommend NOT using them.
Which is priceless to me being able to save fellow hobbyist the pain felt here.

It looks like a few posts on this thread have been deleted as well... Someone was on here last week commenting about how they had similar issues and their posts were deleted. I had responded that I hope that doesn't happen here because I generally take a strong stance against that type of censorship. Looking back on this thread now... That whole chain of posts is gone now. Including my response

Im sure posts have been removed. Several other threads have had stuff go missing. They cant have complaints about one of their sponsors who gives them money of course.

Well... I'll give it 24 hours to see if the mods can give an explanation. Otherwise... I'm out. That sucks... I really have enjoyed contributing more to this site. But that's just one of those things I can't personally put up with...

Good to know. And THANK YOU for not caving to pressure. I understand the need to monitor for blatant personal attacks and other posts that may breech site rules... But the supplier was straight up in this thread responding with some pretty "in your face" responses. And all of my posts have been sincere and clean. So to have my own stuff deleted with zero explanation is my line in the sand. Really REALLY sucks... This site has been awesome for information sharing. But I'll take my business elsewhere

Not to disagree, but the Terms of Participation, or whatever they call these things on here are pretty clear that we cannot bash on vendors.

It's a rule of the site to keep out the negativity. I have had a lot of stuff removed over the years, and I still think there is a fair amount of dialogue that is allowed if people don't pile on.

Censorship vs citizenship. Play nice and you can provide feedback all day. Or it gets removed.

They shouldn't have to clean up?
