  • Had to re-home the Tiger Blenny due his taste for the Acropora and my new Homophyllia australis
  • Added some additional sand as the bottom glass was showing in some spaces
  • Fixed the air that was getting into the dosing lines

love this tank. couple questions: what do you use to check parameters (hanna)? and for the zeovit stones, are they just in the rear chambers (a view into this would be great)? do you agitate them daily?

Thank you. I use a range of testers, hanna, Salifert, Red sea etc. The zeo stones are just in a mesh bag with some carbon in the AIO chamber, I gently agitate them every now and then and replace every 4 weeks.

Here's a view of the AIO chamber I sent to the acrylic guy.

Update 07.08.21
  • Unfortunately the tank took a turn for the worst. Due to a faulty heater the tanks temp dropped considerably a few days in a row and I lost most of my SPS. I was also tinkering a-lot with the system which was probably already stressing them out.
  • I've always enjoyed the look of soft corals so I'm switching gears and going soft coral dominated.
  • With the heater failure (inline heater) I also took the chiller off like and and now the tank is a-lot simpler and a true AIO. I'll add some fans in summer to combat the heat.
Now for a couple of photos...

Update 22.08.21
  • Tank has been cursing along steadily. The softies are growing quite quickly.
  • Due to lockdowns I haven't been able to get any new additions but that's okay.
  • Finally finished the cabinet with a 3mm acrylic panel on the front that is fastened by some stainless steel thumb bolts.
  • Still need to tidy up some of the cables, but will get around to that eventually.
  • Also need to mod the AIO box to bring the outlet lower.
A few pics...
