Welcome to my 150 SPS Reef build.

DT - GC150 5’x2’x2’ Starphire Front & Sides
Sump - Custom diy glass 55
Return Pump - Current Eflux 6011 @ 50%
Skimmer - Lifereef SVS3-24 driven by manifold off return pump.
Circulation - (2) MP40qdw (1)MP10qdw
Controller - Neptune Apex
Dosing - Bubble Magus T-11
Lighting - ATI T-5 8x54 Sunpower Dim

The rock-scaping was kept to a minimalistic look to allow lots of swimming room for the Tangs and also to allow lots of room for the Acros to grow.

January - Started filling tank. Started with dry rock and dry Fiji pink sand. I used several different bacterias to start - Dr Tims, BioSpira, MicroBacter7 and Fritz.

March - I added some snails and hermits from Reefcleaners.

May - Added some fish after QT.
-Desjardini Sailfin Tang
-Yellow Tang (Still in QT)
- (2) Ocellaris Clowns
-Purple firefish

Will be adding more to QT soon. Don’t want to overload the bioload too fast.

June - Will be ordering a couple of frags to start.

- McCosker flasher wrasse

Added Yellow to the DT. Yellow and Desjardini seem to be getting along well, both eating well all fat and happy. Going to order a handful more fish next week and put them through QT.
