Issue with Nero 5 pump

So I ordered this pump about 3 months ago and just got it out of the box. It started fine but is squeaking. If I pull the power head off the magnet it still chatters so it's not the magnet. Anyone else had this problem?

I had a similar issue. I took the pump apart and cleaned it as I saw there was an oily residue where the blades fit into the motor. That solved my problem and it has been silent ever since.

I might have to give that a shot. Seemed better when i turned it back on those morning. See what it's like when I get home

I saw this video in their support files that shows how to clean. Apparently some new pumps might have lubricant on them that needs to be cleaned off.

Thank you! I never heard back from them on this. I've heard their customer service is supposed to be pretty good.....
