This just showed up in our tank one day. It pops out from one of our rocks and we aren’t sure what it is!

Everyone is going to have different advice on how to handle this, and many will work. I wish you luck in this fight. It is, in fact, aiptasia.
 
Search this site on how to handle it. As Mayor583 said, there are multiple ways to handle them. This is likely not the only one in your tank currently. Probably just the only one you can see or have noticed. These appear in almost every reef tank. Don’t get discouraged. They ARE possible to defeat.
