Most of them wont eat. Cyanide.

If you don't want to put the effort into conditioning the eel to captivity
Its a quarantine price. I would want proof..

Couldnt tell from pic, blue or black? Black is 100 less.
Definitely black

The thing is, they may never gain their adult colors.
Eli went from yellow back to black once she went into my reef.

No go at 250. 180 max
I may go up there this weekend or on the way home from work and see if I can schedule a time to see him eat…

Getting him will change any other fish additions.

Is yours out a lot?

Also need to consider aquascape current and future….

Does your eel make tunnels?
Nope

She is always out, until she stuffs her belly. Once her belly is full, she is in hiding for a day. After that she swims around and relaxes around the rocks. They should feel that safe in our tanks.

I was thinking about the price tag, I paid 200 for mine. She was not eating, but was yellow. She was clean, and not eating at the time.

So, I would inspect for anything that looks like loose threads on the eel. You do not want to bring in marine leeches. They are complicating to treat.
