Im going to try to find a single or a double. As mounting in the sump is a pain in the rear. I cant have anything outside, my youngest would have a field day. The 4 head was already really bulky, the one i tossed in the trash. Sure it was fun running 3 pumps... But, There are a bit better ways of getting nitrates and what not, although with Eli gone. Nutrients are depleted. -_-


other updates, Lost an acro to the bubble tips , 1 is hanging onto life as it was violently bubble attacked. need to fight off the white zombies.
I got a red hawk fish thing... and he hasnt added to any of the numbers, choco tang is still growing.. but the scopas... not so much. My single clownfish is bulky and the male mandarin is still grazing about.

Kamoer x1's are a pretty good single pump solution FWIW. I ran one for a few years, just swapped to redsea. I think I'll add back the Kamoer with ammonium soon though

I was eye balling the kamoer. i'll update when i make my mind up. For now, 3x a day 10ml of all for reef is... not easy to keep up with. Might explain the bubble split.

LorAnn baker's ammonium carbonate. I DID anyhow, i stopped once nitrates were 25 and phosphates .1to .5

I use the pure brand ammonium bicarbonate for mine, 20g/L

If you only need 1, why not go with a Kamoer single?

Hydros you would have to get an Xd and a single or a Minnow. Or a Sole but they're pretty pricey.

I actually started a new job in December...

Here goes:

Frank is doing better - finally! There was quite a scare with some of his meds there for a bit.

Jason hasn't been around.

Danieyella is having troubles with ponies so she's downsizing to just her big tank likely soon.

I stated a new job in December and have been busy so the tank is just running.

I got a new puppy in June:

Frank got new tanks and is combining tanks except now he's not plus he has had some fire and pups lately.

Beautiful lab, congrats on the new job.... but i mean. By now you could have trained 5 other people to do the monthly, yearly r2r news reports..

And with 1 bta still hanging upside down, i am really sweating... It is most likely a bad split and both halves may not make it, and i am pretty sure the one hanging will die.
