I really want another regal…. Just can’t decide whether to risk a wild caught or whether to grow out a biota
Sorry, haven't seen one. Can't catch what I can't see ...

Well …. I’m leaning towards that nem 75 gal tank……maybe with zoas on islands, a rock pile for the nems and GSP on the back glass????

Essentially no maintenance….could leave purple in there and then I could have him kick demon fish but?

I just realized if I do that that means no clowns in the new tank…..

I want clowns in the new tank…..hmmm need a nem that won’t over populate
Get one of the sunbursts. Any of them. They are usually chopped vs natural split. Most get overly large. Some do split. Not like rainbows and reds.

Sounds like a plan. Had I done that with the chocolate tang I bought I would still have a regal.
I had a bristletooth til recently . A few of the fish were petrified of it. Ever since it mysteriously disappeared about 3 weeks ago my leopard wrasse in particular has calmed down and stopped trying to find a hole in the tank display. No more tangs, thank you

So... this monti is weird. It encrusts, plates and polyos have multiple colors.
If you want polyps to be orange, lower par. If you want them yellow, medium par. Higher par gives green polyps and purple ring

50 par. Pucs in Whites in the afternoon if you want.

Thoughts, are any/all of the following possible in a 48"x20"x20" tank (83gal)?
1. CBB
2. Foxface (any kind)
3. Kole or Tomini tang?
Maybe @fishguy242 also

And pulling @Slocke in, below with one or more of the above?
1. rhomboidalis
2. Anampses meleagris
3. Cirrhilabrus exquisitus
4. rubeus
5. brunneus
6. lubbocki
7. labouti
8. Anyone from Bathyphilus complex

Looks like CBB is recommended for 5-6'+ tanks. Darn.
