It's Just a Tank

After running water tests this morning. I am overly happy. Alk and magnesium is getting consumed. As suspected, without my foxface. nitrates are between 0-2. Last tests were 2 weeks ago. Only change is the magnesium and the alk. I am not sure why calcium is not going down. Rather odd.... Dosing soda ash, only used a half a teaspoon, will test alk to make sure it doesn't go up too high. Aiming for 8.0 for today. Will increase .02 per day if I can.
Salinity = 1.026
red sea tests
alk = 7.8
calcium =480
magnesium = 1400
salisfert
ph = 8.0-8.15
nitrate 0-2
seachem
phosphate under .05

Last update for the week, maybe..
So, I don't know what species it is, but it looks pink and mint green with pink-red-brownish polyps. Also, I know color doesn't mean species... I'm not that dumb.

Nothing takes better pictures of the bta than the dslr camera. I need new blades for my flipper, they wont remove algae well anymore.

...so there's these two fish in a tank and one looks at the other and asks, "Do you even know how to drive this thing?"

Old but good, at least for my sense of humor! :)

Though title changes are confusing at first, I also like your new title!

So, these little things keep getting bigger. When I first saw them, they were the size of a pin head. Now under the size of half a dime. They shrivel up like mushrooms. Still too small to make out much detail, except the one on the right. It has a mouth....

This was originally a gold clove colony rock. I got it for really cheap. My emperor devoured all the cloves. I didnt think anything was on it. I used it as a frag holder after everything was dead.... They do look like shrooms though.
Tried to get in closer for details.

a fish we always wanted, but no cover on the tank.

yup, you aren't keeping one with that situation. I think my fish are at a comfortable balance. There is no aggression as of now. Who is to say how things will go when the scopas hits 3 more inches. Powder blue was great until he got to around 5". He became a son of a beached whale.
