It's Just a Tank

I'm about 17 cups of coffee short of normal in the last two days, and that's factoring in the 6 monster Java 300's.
Doesn't Royal Crown make up for the missing coffee?

Nothing makes up for missing coffee. Not even Crown Royal!

Now if I could only make art like that. I'm a bit too impatient. I just want to drink my lattes and not go "oh so pretty!" That's what the reef is for.

Btw, saw this dude at the lfs over the weekend.

Spent quite some time watching him.
If he was eating, id buy in a heart beat.

Edit: looks on the thin side, don't think he was eating :(

Whether or not he keeps it up though.
From my own experience. Once they start it's clear sailing. If captured poorly, like many of our fish in the trade. They wither away. Even in the fish disease thread, fish are dying left and right in qt.
I'm still blaming cyanide for the mortality rate of ribbon eels.

Ok probably dumb question… can you have more than one kind of eel in a tank? If so, do they have to be opposite sex?
Plenty of people with multiple eels of different species. Not sure about same species. Ribbons can be kept in multiple. Best if introduced at same time.

So, Eli would rather steal chopped up cbb food than to have shrimp/salmon/clam chunks. It's pretty much the same thing, minus salmon and add in fish pellets and other crustaceans. Green glop.

I haven't fed her in days. But, the fish keep dropping morsels at her door.

Fed the cynarina and trachyphyllia this morning. Mysis and a bite of salmon. Maybe a bit much... But the trachy wouldn't let go. Oh well.
Eli didn't eat the fish, but likes to sniff everything.

All fish accounted food. Wrassehole is in qt and not moving much. I offered food this morning and he looked like he was having a panic attack.
