Don’t know didn’t ask.
Most of the time they don't. In lfs, the are in full panic mode.

Now for the local news.
Regal angel has been browsing under the coral. For those who forgot what wild coral looks like, under wild colonies are sponge, tunicates, feather dusters, pods of some nature maybe a pesty type of coral "cloves".

She hasn't nipped, and I haven't moved rock to see if she's wiped out the sponge, tunicates off the rocks.

I have had bad luck at getting sponge to grow.

Post in thread 'You find a fish you really like nipping at your corals... what do you do?' https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/y...ur-corals-what-do-you-do.934974/post-11735165

Thanks @Projects with Sam angelixir bottle should arrive tuesday.

Fun stuff, brought down the big boy.
Bowerban has been doing great since the ammonium dosing. Took some pics of some of the fish. Torch coral is gaining some nice color stripes. I guess that's what you call them?

So the story I got was that it was a special order for a certain customer. Apparently that customers brother got him a snowflake eel after they had already placed a special order. So they’ve had him in the tank since September. He’s terrified of tongs apparently. But he does eat when they drop food into the tank. They want 250 form.

Interesting.
Is that a good price?

I should have made them feed him while I was there……they said they hadn’t yet

IMO 2x as much ,or close to it 120- 160 range... ;) :)
Most of them wont eat. Cyanide.

If you don't want to put the effort into conditioning the eel to captivity
Its a quarantine price. I would want proof..

Couldnt tell from pic, blue or black? Black is 100 less.
