It's Just a Tank

Oh, and this too. Night pics, lets see if any one can spot.

She is. She seemed to have been hibernating during winter times, even though the tank temps stay the same.
There were times I had to shoo Eli out of her tunnel to make sure she was ok. spring is around the corner and she's swimming out and about more.

None of that makes sense as ocean waters dont really change with seasons much. But they can under extreme events.
I wonder if the air pressure or something like that triggers more of a hibernation like state

Since the air around the tank is colder at winter times, that might be a thing.

nosey mandarin ?
yes!!

Once i added him, all the fish ran in for the attack. As soon as they smelled him they were like "i got better things to do"

Eli would rather eat the seafood slushy. She held 0 interest and didn't even care.

But the shrimp on the other hand... "need a cleaning?"

Theres a nice toxic splatter bubble coral atvthe lfs, not sure where id put it.
I cleared out the front of Eli's tunnel. ticked off my torch who will probably die out of spite now.
Moved the green goni to the corner of the back as i always have when she went into a declining state.

Probably a bad idea to think of adding anyone.

One of my local coral sellers invited me to a Fish A Palooza yesterday. He donated a Splatter Hammer and wanted me to enter to win. I have no space for a hammer... I didn't enter to win so I didn't win.

Hammer is easier to place vs a bubble coral. Bubble corals are highly aggressive and will hit like mike tyson who isn't paid to hold back.

don't get me wrong, hammers do send out sweepers, but nothing as insane as a bubble coral. I really wanted a cat's eye bubble, but the splatter at the lfs was just as nice. A reverse cats eye.
I was thinking more along the lines of "where"?

Flatworms i have are not all doom and gloom. But gloom for sure.
Heres some updates.
Declining goni back in her corner.

Beck's space invader was so bullied by snails. Receeded but is now showing growth.

Frogspawn pups have grown well.

This csb is extremely massive after a year of growth. She covers all the back of where she lives.
