looking good im digging that stand what color did you use to stain it? It has a rugged look to it i like it. The tank is coming along pretty well too nice coral selection. I dig that powder blue i really wish i never would ahve lost mine. be careful as they are susceptible to ich.

Thanks! I forgot what the color I did for the stand. Im still finishing it though.. I still have 2 side units to build then the doors.. The side unit that holds all the electronics should be done next week. But ya i liked my Powder blue to.. But he was the one who brought ich in my tank and killed all my fish except my mystery wrasse.. :cry:

man great tank! I have a question for you. I was looking at your orange monti cap. the one with the blenny postin it there. Does your cap grow upwards or outwards? mine is growing straight out towards the front of the glass.

Thanks guys! I have more pics i took last night but im still trying to figure out my new camera. I got a cannon 30D handed down to me :angel: But I don't know anything about photography.. So im stating from the beginning.. I also just got my shipment from Rocky Mountain frags! I put together a sweet sps pack that includes: ORA Pearl Berry, Diablo milli, Blueberry special, Biohazard, Ultimatefrags rainbow acro, and a free be he threw in for me! :xd:

Well the time has come. Im selling my orange cap! Its huge! growing on rocks i don't want it to grow on. I also want more room for more sps. I really want i nice tabling acro. So my buddy is picking it up tonight. I have had it for over a year now. Its really nice but becoming a a pain..

How about a little update. It has been a while. I switched to Radions I would say about 4 or 5 months ago. Then my corals started going down.. I thought it was the new lighting... Well my corals kept getting worse and worse. i kept fiddling with light and nothing was getting better. Turns out my phosphates and nitrates were out of control.. I mean my phosphates was at .18. So i did would anyone else would and i freaked out.. Started doing big water changes and what not.. Until I came to terms that the big tangs have to go.. They were starting to out grow my tank anyway. I had a hippo, blond naso, red sea sail fin, and a purple tang. All extra large.. These guys grew so fast and i didn't expect it.. lol Any way I was able to catch my hippo in a fish trap and sold him. The only other one that will go in the trap is the blond naso.. So he is next to go. I may have to keep the other two because they want nothing to do with the trap. I put the algae on the clip in there and they won't fall for it.. So they might be staying for a while.. Anyway things are starting to look better in the tank day by day.. Anyway the corals are still recovering and doing better. On with the pics..

Just ordered this super male flame wrasse from our friend Pacific Island Aquatics. Sooo stoked. Im trying to replace the big fish with smaller fish :tongue:

Thanks! Me to. I tried one about 6 months ago or so. Maybe longer.. He did fine for about 2 weeks. He ate like a pig and no other fish were bothering him. He was always flashing around the front of the tank. But then one day i noticed his color starting to fade. Then the next day he was done.. Im really hoping this one does well..
