January 2011 POTM competition

The topic for the January POTM competition is 30-sec. Reef Videos That's right, the Photo of the Month for January is actually Video of the Month. Create a 30-sec. video (anything longer will be disqualified) of your entire reef or anything living in your reef and post it in this thread. It's best if you can post your video on YouTube since it will keep things uniform. But, if you have some other way of hosting a video, help yourself. Try to keep the size the same as YouTube videos. This is a new area, so a bit experimental.

The entry deadline is the end of the day, January 15. Voting will begin as soon after that as I can get the poll posted and end January 25.

Is there a prize? I don't know. Rev's seeing what he can do.

Have to be a recent video? If no how old it can be? I have several videos I can edit to be 30 seconds but they are not recent.

Luisgo, no time constraints. Just has to be of a reef aquarium or animals in an aquarium.

"crappy 30 sec clip from me." Way to sell it Rev! That's like a salesman approaching a customer and saying, "You don't want to buy any of my product, do you?"

How about: "Take 30 seconds out of your hectic day and enjoy viewing the tentacles of my fungia corals waving in the current in my personal reef world. You'll enjoy it more if you watch it in HD." Hugs and kisses, Rev.

The only restrictions are that it be no longer than 30 sec. and it be of either a reef aquarium or animals in a reef aquarium, i.e., can't be a video of your last SCUBA dive in Palau. Clip, edit, and splice 'til your heart's content. And don't label it a "crappy 30 sec. clip." ;)
