Hello again reefers, I'm back after a year and some months off from the hobby.
I purchased a 150g reef tank used. I'm using a 40g refugium to go with it. Tank is up and running as of January 2nd. What a way to start off the New Year.

Equipment
Jebao DCT 12000 return pump
Jebao WP 40
Curve 7 Skimmer
Eheim 250 watt heater
Coralife T-5 4 bulb fixture. Temporary until I buy some LED lights from Reef Republik.

Of course I plan to buy a doser, A.T.O. and an aquarium controller but until then tank is cycling as we speak. This is my 4th reef tank. Enjoy the build and the pictures.

Welcome back to the madness, Jason G!

That's a remarkably pleasant aquascape to look at - much more than just a pile of rocks - and how cool is it that you have an Uncle Victor! I'm the only person in my circle who even keeps a tank. (Well, there is one ... he's got a little box with a dwarf frog . . . )

Thanks. I'm glad to be back. My Uncle has helped me in many ways with this build. Now I'm repaying him by helping him setup his 140g Half Moon reef tank.

Here's an update of my tank. Unfortunately I ran into Bryopsis and had to treat my tank to kill it with Fluconazole. The treatment worked but I still see a little bit more algae hanging around. I will probably do another treatment soon.
